Description:
Immaculate 11 Night Rod Special with Screamin Eagle Stage II cams $1500(installed by dealer at time of purchase to preserve warranty) Vance & Hines Competition Series black ceramic coated 2 into 1 full exhaust $1100 installed and Power Commander V $500 installed and tuned to 127 rwhp compared to the stock rating of 125 at the crank this represents a nice dependable improvement that still easy to ride on the street. Built on the V-Rod chassis, HD worked with Porsche to design this amazing engine, and went back to Porsche again to have them help expand the 1130cc V-Rod engine to 1250cc for use in the Night Rod Special, essentially a factory drag bike. 2011 was the only year that this color combo was available, (matte) Denim black w/ orange stripes. This bike includes HD accessories: side bag, fender baseplate, sissy bar, and backrest pad $550. Bike was ordered in March of 2011 and picked up early May at a total cost of roughly $19000 before tax. It's been serviced twice with Mobil 1 full synthetic and has a tick over 6k miles. Original Michelin tires are good rear is 50% front shows almost no wear and the bike won't lean far enough to get these things loose, get on the throttle early out of the corner and hang on because that fat rear tire sure will and this thing goes like stink. Bike is under warranty until May of 2012. This is my first cruiser after 10 years of sportbikes and while it's faster than any other cruiser you can buy it still doesn't suit my riding style. I'm a father now and would like to get a sports car or older convertible SUV of similar value, I am interested in trades. This bike has the factory wide rear end with the 240 tire(fits up to 280 with no modification) and is the 1250cc engine which is about 15hp stronger than the standard 1130cc v-rod motor. The bike is also equipped with the factory security with keyless ignition and Brembo performance ABS brakes as well as cruise control and auto release turn signals(all available options). For the asking price I will include a limited edition HD leather jacket that matches the bike and includes a hooded vest size MD but fits md-lg paid $550, and a pair of HD Gore-Tex waterproof cold weather gloves $105, any less and I keep the coat n gloves. As you can see in the garage there is a CVO Fat Bob and Can Am Spyder all in the family, the 110" has cams and full exhaust as well but doesn't even compare to the performance of the is bike. From a stop the Night Rod pulls 3 cars on the CVO before 2nd gear.
New MSRP of this bike was $14600 plus the Brembo ABS/Security package, delivery and setup for a total MSRP of $16400. With accessories this bike represents a total investment of nearly $19000 and it is still as new, just broken in. The bike is currently stored on a stand for winter and can be viewed in the evening, until the weather changes I will not be taking it out to meet anyone. If you have seen the new 2012 Night Rod Special you already know they changed a lot, you may like it but I haven't talked to one person that does. This bike is the last of it's generation and is the best color they offered with the most ideal performance mods available, it just needs a rider.
